From now on, all payments of the hotel chain will be processed via Adyen's financial technology platform. The consolidation of online bookings, on-site payments, hotel food and beverage and the digital guest journey creates a seamless and efficient payment experience for guests and supports Motel One Group's growth objectives.
The existing process at the reception desk will be optimized by state-of-the-art technology to make processes and profitability more efficient and to raise the guest experience to a new level. The new digital guest journey in Motel One's hotels can save valuable time in the future thanks to a self-service solution from Hotelbird and automated correspondence compared to the conventional and manual check-in of guests by reception staff. Thanks to the cooperation, Motel One has access to all payment processing information, regardless of channel and region, on a standardized platform. This enables automated billing and simplifies financial accounting.
Processing payment data via a unified platform opens up new opportunities for informed business decisions, for example to further improve the customer loyalty of Motel One's loyal beOne members.
