Why do I see Adyen on my bank statement?
Adyen processes payments and subscriptions for many businesses globally. Depending on the business’s setup, our name can show up on your bank statement when you buy something, get charged for a subscription, or receive a payout from one of our customers.

We suggest you start by contacting the merchant or seller to settle any disputes. If you don’t reach a settlement, we strongly recommend contacting your bank. As we’re only the payment processor for this transaction, we can’t refund requests or take action on individual cancellations.
Adyen doesn’t have the power to start or stop payment without the authorization of our merchants. We also can’t initiate a refund process on their behalf. To request a refund, contact the company you made the purchase with.
If you have not received an order confirmation or wish to receive an invoice for your order, please contact the company you bought through. We do not have the authority to confirm an order’s status.
Adyen processes payments for some of the world’s most well-known subscription businesses, but we’re unable to cancel your payment. For this, please contact the company directly.

(i) Are you a shopper who has used a card issued by an Indian bank or an Indian payment method (for example UPI) and made a payment in INR; and (ii) Are you a shopper who bought goods or services from an Indian merchant and made a payment in INR. Adyen's look up tool can be accessed through the following identifiers:
Cards (including RuPay Card): For this identifier you will need to provide the last 4 digits of your card (Note: Adyen India does not store card data. This information is solely used for the purpose of identifying a transaction.)
PSP Reference : For this identifier you will need to provide the alphanumeric code generated by Adyen for your transaction (Note: Adyen India gives every payment or modification request (such as refund) a PSP reference (Payment Service Provider). This unique 16-character identifier can contain numbers and letters (alphanumeric))
UPI ID/handle : For this identifier you will need to provide the UPI ID/handle as apearing on your UPI payment application for the specific transaction.
Currency: INR is the only option for the payment lookup tool for India
Amount: For this identifier you will need to provide the exact amount you paid
Transaction Date: For this identifier you will need to provide the date on which the transaction was made.

As we’re only the payment processor for this transaction, we can’t refund requests or take any action on your transaction on our own. We do however provide you the option to let us know incase a transaction is fraudulent/unauthorised and we will do what is necessary in accordance with applicable law.
You can check your refund status using our look up tool through the following methods:

Adyen India complies with the RBI’s instructions on Turn-Around-Time (TAT) for resolution of failed transactions. Failed transactions are reversed and returned to the shopper in T + 1 days to T+ 5 depending on the payment method. For more details please see Adyen's India External Complaints Handling Policy.
Adyen India is not authorized to start or stop payment on its own without the consent of the merchant. To request a refund, please contact the merchant you made the purchase with.
Adyen India only processes payments on behalf of its merchants. In case of service deficiencies, please contact the merchant.
If you have not received an invoice for your purchase, please contact the merchant. As a payment processor, we do not have the authority to provide invoices for your purchase.
